Some places are not on the map. Not ours, not anyone’s. They belong to the people who found them, shaped them and still paddle out there before work. COREBACK GOLD is a way to be taken there properly: by a local, on their terms, with the day already arranged around you.

Everything is set before you arrive. The boat, the bed, the boards, the next stretch of coast, the place you eat when the wind turns. You are given choices at every turn, and each choice has already been booked. It feels like someone was a step ahead of you the whole trip. That is because someone was.

What you will not get is a pin to drop or a name to post. The spots stay with the people who keep them. That is the whole point, and it is why a Gold trip costs what it costs: the price pays the local who walks you in, and a share of it stays in the community around the break.

what a Gold trip includes

A local guide with you every step, or close by.
Every stage booked before you arrive: travel, stay, boards, food, the next corner.
Sessions at breaks that are never named or located on COREBACK.
The parts of the country visitors do not usually see: viewpoints, waterfalls, the real places.
Levels of comfort up to yacht-based trips. Luke sets the details with you.
A share of the price goes to the community around the breaks.

the rules

Non-negotiable. They are what keep these places what they are.

  1. The spots stay unnamed. No pins, no tags, no place names in posts. Ever.
  2. Film cameras only at the secret-spot sessions. Phones stay in the bag.
  3. The local's word is final, in the water and on land.
  4. Leave nothing. Take nothing but the wave.
  5. What you are shown stays with you, and you agree to that in writing before the trip.

COREBACK GOLD is run by Luke Burrow, COREBACK’s founder, as its own business. COREBACK lists it as a Preferred Partner and takes no part in its bookings or payments.
