About

Presence

A surf is time you cannot be anywhere else. The paddle out, the waiting, the set that finally comes — none of it can be hurried, and none of it can be faked. COREBACK is built around that hour and the things that surround it: the breaks you keep returning to, the sessions worth remembering, and the trips you take to find both.

We keep the noise out. No pushed ads, no forced tracking, no feed asking for your evening. Your diary is private by default and stays that way unless you choose otherwise. Every figure on screen comes from somewhere real — a forecast, a price a partner published themselves, or something you typed. Nothing is invented to fill a space.

Luke Burrow, Founder

Luke grew up in Cape Town, on the South African coast and has never lived far from the water. He works at sea (on Luxury Yachts), and surfing is the thread running through all of it — the reason a trip gets planned, the reason an early start is worth it, the reason a place earns a second visit.

COREBACK comes out of that. It is made by someone who surfs, for people who surf, rather than a travel product with a surfboard on the cover. The ethos is plain: respect the place, respect the people who live there, and leave both as you would want to find them.

How it gets built

Luke's Dad, Alan Burrow, is the founder of ZaraLab, an AI enablement studio. ZaraLab provides the technology behind COREBACK so the vision stays in Luke's hands — the surfing, the standards, the partners and the direction are his, and the engineering follows.
